Sutherland, namely Sutherland County, Scotland is where my McKendrick ancestors lived. The historic county of Sutherland is located on the rugged northern edge of Scotland and is sparsely populated with roughly 13,000 residents. It’s a place that has had a difficult history at times, but is also a land of faith and beauty. When it came to naming my firm, I could think of no better tribute to my family than to name it Sutherland Wealth Management.
